Master 2 students organize international IMCBio Master Symposium

From November 22 to 26 the Master students of IMCBio and from the University of Strasbourg different Masters had the opportunity to attend talks from 15 internationally recognized speakers in the annual IMCBio Master Symposium. The symposium was organized by the Master 2 students together with their master representatives and IMCBio, and covered seven different subjects: Plant biology, Genetics, Structural Biology, Immunology, Virology, Nobel Prize Themes and Developmental biology. The talks were held in hybrid manner – with six speakers attending in person from France, Switzerland and Germany. The other speakers held online conferences. All conferences had the advantage that, due to the technical support of the staff at University of Strasbourg, IBMP, IBMC and IGBMC they could be followed online by the researchers at the local hosting institutes. After five intensive days, with not only conferences, but also “lunch with the speaker sessions” and a cocktail co-organized with the Immunology Master – we left for the week-end in a scientific- curiosity -stimulated mode!
